Cathrine Hammel

Cathrine Hammel is an eponymous Oslo-based womenswear brand founded in 1992. The brand is defined and recognized as a modern take on Scandinavian minimalism and tradition, with a strong emphasis on knitwear and everyday basics.

Anybody can look elegant, according to the modernist-inspired designer, Cathrine Hammel, and her premium design and quality garments certainly makes it feasible. Symbolic for the brand is the modern take on traditional pieces, like the famous tulle skirt form Dior´s New Look in the 1950s. With unique design and high quality, Cathrine Hammel creates easy-to-wear pieces with a feminine sophisticated look.

Cathrine Hammel launched her first collection in 1992 and five year later, she opened her own shop “Spazio” in Oslo.
